My cat paintings are inspired by portraits I am doing of the cats who have touched my life. Theodore AKA Teddybear Snugglepuss is
one of the most compassionate, caring, loving, warmhearted, intuitive beings I have the BLESSINGS to have in my life. Although he is ten years old or better (we just took him off the street recently) he plays like a kitten. If I am sad about something he will come and look into my eyes and put his huge paw on my cheek. He is also very loving to my little 6lb dog Gidget. Banchee has a crush on him and they kiss each other! He absolutely adores my husband. Teddy celebrates kindness.

Teddy admires his reflection in the mirror. I tell him that I think he is a big beatuful boy too:) He is very serious about cuddle time and I recognise when he squints his eyes a certain way (see above) that it is his "look of love" that reaches to the soul. His warmth is like a ray of sunshine in my life. I promised Teddy that I would someday create a line of cat art and that he would be one of my models. He hung out in my studio! LOL

Cats are so honest, loyal and amazing. They have been some of my greatest teachers.

I created this to honor the feline, thier Sacredness and Beauty. That age does not matter when kismet comes into our lives. This pic represents all cats and those who will someday find thier kismet too.
