Whispered breezes
swaying to and fro
your branches singing
deep resounding cello

Water shimmers
with sunset bright
of colors blending
a wondrous sight

I sit upon
this blade of grass
as magic makes
it’s dancing pass

In harmony
I play with nature surround
my heart conveying
natures music unbound

In freedom and peace
I play for my tree friend
for over this pond
our connection transcends

There is peace
here in this place
for the present in now
brings joy to my face

I am one
with all living things
and my instrument is telling
through joyous strings

My heartfelt notes
do sing to you
My lovely tree friend
This Serenade is
for you.
