This entire piece is inspired by my animal rescue friends Kitty and Dori. Kitty and I became aquainted on the internet and
we quickly found out that we share a love of "fur and feathered people". From there Kitty got chickens and named one after me.
I am honored to be named after a chicken, they are awesome birds and very loving!
I watched the chicks grow. Gave Kitty advice whether she wanted it or not (lol) and totally doted on them all from afar, Kitty included.
Yes I am a clucking mother hen sometimes. Kitty allowed me to be me.:D (smart lady) hehehe
Kitty recently rescued goslings who were abandoned by a lake. I ofcoarse gave my two cents worth. Cringed as I watched the video
of humans trying to catch geese in a soft and gentle way ( as per the geeses comments of protest) and was totally inspired by
the people who came together to help Kitty rescue these geese. Now that's love!

I watched as the geese settled in to Kitty's new home. I read Kitty's blog and cry at the descriptions she gives as she observes and learns
from them about family matters in the geese motto and code of ethics. It's about love and staying close together. I feel overjoyed inside that there are people out there who love animals and rejoyce in them are willing to learn from them and listen to thier voice too. I feel inspired by kindness
not only when it is given to me but when I witness it in the human spirit. Inner beauty inspires me.

This silhouette is of the actual goslings at M & L Hockman Ranch. Kitty posted a pic. I asked permission to use it, got the ok
and here it is. While it is depicted as somewhat of a fairytale, there is truth in it because happy endings do happen
and yes that is where a good life begins.
