Meet Merry the Gnome and Tamra the Hedgehog! Everyday Merry brings Tamra a surprise.  Today Merry carried a big juicy cherry for Tamra to enjoy! Tamra is a  very old girl (she is a magical hedgehog) and dear friend to Merry.  Hedgehogs are SACRED to faeries of all sorts and often Faeries will take on the form of a hedgehog.  Merry plays his usual game of Guess what I have for you today?!!  Tamra always guesses correctly, for she has a  very keen sense of smell!!  Merry treks far to bring Tamra her morning surprises everyday, he is a very kind Gnome and is a treasure to all living things because he is so thoughtful.  

Tamra has bestowed upon Merry the ability to change his form into a Hedgehog should the need arise.  After this mornings treat, Tamra and Merry talk about thier children and Grandchildren, and GREAT Grandchildren!  They also will discuss Beltane in May and the great feasting, hedgehogs and wee forest folk share  together every year.  Tomorrow the same thing will happen, but that's what faithful friends do............and they are always there!
