The first time a child laughed, joy bubbled up.............. It is from that joy that faeries were born. And so the first time every child that is born laughs, they too bring that joy to life through that magic and wonder and joy of faeries....

At the top of the picture is Faeriewoods Own Royal Crest.  If you go to the Queen of faeries you can see Her Royal Majesties crown is The Faeriewood Crest. The Ravens on each side are Skylar Himself. I have been practicing the art of Celtic Knotwork and so within Skylar are intricate symbols sacred to the Celt's.  The the top of the Border though I do not know if you can see it, are 2 Celtic Knot Triads, scribed into the border.  Skylar too has several Celtic knot triads within him, his beak has Celtic triads as well. Skylar himself is a protective fellow and I tried to convey his personality as he is smiling and happy:) He holds within his mouth the great spiral of life.  Cherishing and protecting the innocence of a child within the wondrous moment of joy.  This is my first attempt at doing a child portrait. I hope you all like it!
