This piece was made with the intention of positive changes that happen
in life that are uplifting to the human spirit. The dragonfly begins life as a water nymph
until the day that it emerges from the water transformed. Now it can fly!
The dragonfly can hover in mid air, go forwards, backwards or to the side.
It also has speed and agility. It is a beautiful and delicate looking creature and provides
and important service to this planet. The reason it can move in this way is because it
is transformed into a being that requires these skill to do thier job. Yet also when it was a nymph
the skills it needed to survive under water are there. Part of the dragonfly remains the same. The
job for which it is meant to do from birth.
I look at the Dragonfly as a being who inspires me to continue to nurture
the gifts that I have been given. To see the transformation and growth
that has happened as a result of being true to oneself.
